This 4-hour BLS & Safe Use of AED (RQF) course is designed to enable all participants to deal with an unresponsive casualty, learn resuscitation procedures and the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
AED’s are now becoming more common throughout a range of public and work places.
A casualty’s survival rate will dramatically increase if an AED is available and if you have appropriately qualified personnel to use it.
This very practical course will enable you to use the AED competently and with confidence.
Summative practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor.
A three year Level 2 Award in BLS and Safe Use of an AED will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. This is an Ofqual qualification that sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is valid for 3 years.
Open first aid courses are ideal for businesses who have a few members of staff that require first aid training. They are also open to the members of the public who are looking for a first aid qualification for individual learning or perhaps to help their future employment prospects.
All of our first aid courses are Ofqual accredited and currently held in our training rooms in Windlesham in Surrey.
